In order to Create your very own gallery of photos you must have at least one photo in mind to upload and you must be logged in. Each individual image or video must be less than 2M(2000kb) in size. Images must be no larger than 1200pixels in width or height. I would recommend using Picasa from Google to resize your images its easy and works great. http://www.google.com/picasa

    Navigate to the photo gallery.

Choose Create/Order My Albums in your menu in the middle of the page. **this is important because you must have a album created before you can upload photos to it.**

In the selction box you are given you must Click on New Album and then change "new album" to the name you really want your album to be titled example "Rick's Hangar"

    Choose apply modifications

You will be brought back to the photo gallery and must click on Upload Files *Note: this menu item is in the small text menu just above the boxed in menu where you selected "Create/Order My Album".

Now you will need to upload your photos by choosing browse and finding the file on your computer then choose open You can choose up to ten at a time. *resizing your photos to a size of 800 pixels wide before uploading will save server space and reduce the upload time

After you have selected the photos you wish to upload you will need to click upload

You will be notified that the photos have been added. click Continue

**If you encounter a totally blank page or an error stating memory has been exhausted you need to make sure your image is less than 2000Kb and no larger than 1200px wide or high.**

The next step is to select the album you want them to be displayed in... ex."Ricks's Hangar"
edit the description and any photo information. Then choose Continue

You will be notified that the photos have been added. click Continue

    And Bam! you've posted photos.

Navigate to "Photo Gallery"-->"Members Galleries"--. and you will be able to see your album and photos.

[i]From now on your album will be there. If you want to upload more photos you will only need to choose upload photos from the menu and then select an album you have created.

If we have a large number of photos to add from an event for example you may want to get them to an administrator so we can upload a lot of photos quickly instead adding them ten at a time.

Happy Photo Posting
Rick Karg ;)

If you have created an album and uploaded pictures to it and assigned those pictures to the album you will definitely see them in the Members Gallery. No one has done so yet so I'll post one so you can see that you have access. Good Luck.

FYI I have tested this out three times now with a test login account and have had no issues.

Thanks for asking Johnathon. Hover your mouse over the youtube button on the menu in the posting editor for instructions. All you have to do is copy the address of the video, click the "youtube button" in the posting editor and past the address in between the brackets like this..
Code: Select all

I am still getting a complete white screen when upload is complete. Before it would go directly to a page where I would be able to sort the pictures and write a disription. I am pretty sure it is due to file size, but the pictures I am trying to upload are less than 1000kb. The previous pictures I uploaded are less than 100kb. help please!!!

This is trivial. I am working on it. I'll let you know when I think I have this resolved.

Thanks

I'm still working on it but for now you can upload photos of 300kb or less and up to 800px wide. I would like to allow larger file sizes for videos. I'll keep you posted.

Okay here's the verdict on uploading.

-Photos must be less than 1200 pixels in width or height.

-any file video or photo must be smaller than 2000kb or 2Meg.
