SLRCFA was recently contacted by Scott AFB. Scott AFB asked SLRCFA if would be interested in performing flight demonstrations at 2012 airshow. The SLRCFA board of directors hammered out some of the details and voted in favor of preforming a couple of demonstrations at the 2012 airshow.
Scott AFB requested that the flight demonstrations include all aspects of the hobby. This would include scale, warbirds, aerobatic, 3D, electric flight, pylon, soaring, and more. They also requested a static display.
The Airshow is September 15th and 16th. SLRCFA will be seeking a couple of volunteers to fill all aspects of the hobby. Space is extremely limited.
